AUTUMN PELTIER, CHIEF WATER COMMISIONER
A teenage water activist from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory on Manitoulin Island, and the chief water commissioner for the Anishinabek Nation. Autumn’s advocacy for water protection started when she was just eight years old — and she’s been guided and supported throughout this journey by her mother, Stephanie Peltier.
Now at the age of 15, Peltier has already spoken at the United Nations, serves as chief water commissioner for her First Nation, and has been nominated for a plethora of prestigious global activism and leadership awards. She carries herself with unwavering stoicism; uses scant but precise words; and travels with a support system comprising her mother and aunties, who fiercely guard the young leader from anything that could perturb her while manifesting her mission.
Peltier’s back problems are so much the tip of the iceberg when it comes to her acting beyond her age that it’s in fact refreshing to see her texting on her phone after leading a sacred water ceremony in a spiritual center in Brooklyn. For a moment, she seems like any other teenager.
But then, the next day, she gets behind a podium at the Global Landscapes Forum and reminds: “One day I will be an ancestor, and I want my descendants to know I used my voice so they can have a future.”

Some people can make money just by blogging and promoting products with affiliate marketing. So how can we as women do the same and have success by doing it?
Just to be fair, I know from experience that Affiliate Marketing is not an easy task and easy money and not a quick rich scheme. You would need commitment, experience, site traffic, etc. There are also different types of payment which are: Pay per sale, Pay per click and Pay per lead.
Affiliate Marketing will only work if you are willing to do your research and be serious about it.
To do your research you must need a reliable electronic device like the MacBook 13.3, recently rated as the best MacBook in 2020.

There are certain terms and metrics to know like Commission rate, Clickthrough rate, Earnings per 100 clicks, Average order Value, Reversal Rate and Conversion Rate. This is why I am writing this blog and doing some random research about monitization and affiliated marketing, to help myself to understand it better and hopefully will benefit others as well.
Unfortunately affiliate marketing is not easy. It’s not just a matter of setting up your website and start to promote your links. You will not achieve overnight success and you would need to work hard to make sales. I guess hard work pays off.
You would need to convince visitors what you are promoting is an amazing product and that they will not waste their money. People need to know that they can trust you with the product that you are advertising.
I also read about people making the mistake of writing bad content to their blog and adding as many clickbait as they can just to get people on their site. To generate great commissions you need to know what to say, when to say it and who you saying it to.

Some people might have tried affiliated marketing and they failed over and over and given up. Well, I did as well and I am not giving up. I will try again and again and again and will make it work. I presume it is not everyone’s cup of tea.
Affiliated programs will always exist because companies always release new products and they need sales, just like you need sales to make commission. It is an amazing marketing platform and can be a win for both the seller and the affiliate if done correctly.
You will not get lots of likes and shares on social media if you are not willing to work hard by promoting your links, this is the only way you will be able to get sales. Don’t believe that you will not get commission from certain products, this I have read from various affiliate blogs claiming it’s certainly untrue. You need to know how to sell and to which type of client. This is why you need to know when and where to advertise your products.
When you join as an affiliate marketer you would also need to think about link-building, social media marketing, optimization, SEO and so forth. There’s many things you might need to learn before you start to become successful, however there is no harm in signing up as soon as possible to an affiliate program to get the basic understanding.
Never give up, try to learn from your mistakes. I certainly made some mistakes and am still not hundred percent sure what I should do next time, but hey it’s taking time to fully understand how the system really works…..crawl before you walk! Just remember that you always need to share your content and get people to engage with your site, this is very important for people to know where you publish and how often.

Goal Setting to Goal Getting and what you need to do first.
I recently listened to a few very informative and inspiring podcasts and it gave me the idea to share some ideas on how to set your goals for 2021 and have the best year ever. Here’s some advice:
It’s not just about setting your goals and think that if you have it on paper you can relax and wait for the magic to happen. No, it’s hard work and dedication. Setting goals doesn’t really mean you will achieve them, if this was true homeless people with dreams will not be homeless anymore.
By setting the right kind of goals and build systems and processes around it will help you to achieve your goals. You can set goals for anything in life, like personal, business, religious, cultural, etc.

If you haven’t had some experience by setting your own goals, it might be difficult at first, that is why the Ladies Enrichment Club Worldwide help women worldwide to set small or big goals with free advice and low cost coaching. Do you want to achieve all the goals you set for yourself? Then visualize them, take care of them and grow them little by little.
Goal planners is very important for you to keep track of your goals and they will keep you accountable (yes, you will feel guilty if you haven’t reach a goal).
How will your 2021 be like? Do you strive for a change in your life? I encourage you to visualize your goal, is it reachable? Start with a simple goal today and see if you can achieve it by the end of the week or month. This will give you courage to do bigger goal settings.
