Are you sometimes struggling to focus on yourself and what you need to do, especially when you are working on a smart goal for yourself or business? Or, if you need to study for your upcoming exam?
Here are 3 ways you can help yourself to start effective focus habits…
- Have no phone conversations or texting during your focus time. The phone can be a huge distraction these days, for example you might have had a great idea in mind just before you got distracted by your ringing phone, now it’s gone because you focused on your call or got distracted by the sound of a notification.
- Have a quiet space of isolation to focus, like a room or garden area. A tranquil space is what you are looking for, where your focus is at it’s best. Play some favorite background music, but keep it low volume so you can still focus on your smart goal or task. Wireless headphones can be a great tool to block out background noise for focus time. My recommendation for a good quality headphones (click image below) and it could be a great gift as well.
- Wake up early and start a morning routine without electronics, which will help you to have a healthier and less stressed morning. Go for a walk and listen to nature sounds or write the book you always wanted to write in a comfy chair.
