2021 coming up and How to Monitize your blog through Affiliate Marketing…

Are you afraid to start Affiliate marketing? I am, well I am just scared that it will not work for me, that is why I need to set the right expectations for myself, so I do not end up discouraged. Get yourself a diary where you can keep track of your goals and expectations.

This is why I am writing this blog and doing some random research about monitization and affiliated marketing, to help myself to understand it better and hopefully will benefit others as well.

Unfortunately affiliate marketing is not easy. It’s not just a matter of setting up your website and start to promote your links. You will not achieve overnight success and you would need to work hard to make sales. I guess hard work pays off.

You would need to convince visitors what you are promoting is an amazing product and that they will not waste their money. People need to know that they can trust you with the product that you are advertising.

I also read about people making the mistake of writing bad content to their blog and adding as many clickbait as they can just to get people on their site. To generate great commissions you need to know what to say, when to say it and who you saying it to.

Some people might have tried affiliated marketing and they failed over and over and given up. Well, I did as well and I am not giving up. I will try again and again and again and will make it work. I presume it is not everyone’s cup of tea.

Affiliated programs will always exist because companies always release new products and they need sales, just like you need sales to make commission. It is an amazing marketing platform and can be a win for both the seller and the affiliate if done correctly.

You will not get lots of likes and shares on social media if you are not willing to work hard by promoting your links, this is the only way you will be able to get sales. Don’t believe that you will not get commission from certain products, this I have read from various affiliate blogs claiming it’s certainly untrue. You need to know how to sell and to which type of client. This is why you need to know when and where to advertise your products.

When you join as an affiliate marketer you would also need to think about link-building, social media marketing, optimization, SEO and so forth. There’s many things you might need to learn before you start to become successful, however there is no harm in signing up as soon as possible to an affiliate program to get the basic understanding.

Never give up, try to learn from your mistakes. I certainly made some mistakes and am still not hundred percent sure what I should do next time, but hey it’s taking time to fully understand how the system really works…..crawl before you walk! Just remember that you always need to share your content and get people to engage with your site, this is very important for people to know where you publish and how often.

Thanks to so many affiliate programs for your advice, I took a bit from here and there and still need to learn a lot more. Next time I will continue this blog with another important lesson to be learned.
